Training

NCISE Northamptonshire offers training services to migrant communities in a non threatening and empowering way.  This takes place in a neighbourhood venue where they feel confortable working with volunteers drawn from their own community who have the necessary cultural understanding.  Some of the courses on offer are:

Introduction to Social Enterprise (Levels 1-3); Open College Network (OCN) accreditated;

Introduction to Business Planning;

Effective Communication;

Interview Skills;

Basic Bookkeeping;

Volunteering and Managing Volunteers;

Managing Grassroot Organisations

Equality and Diversity;

Administrative Systems and Data Protection and;

Funding and Income Generation.

On entry to the programme, individual participant's need will be assessed and an individual learning programme will be drawn upon in liasion and negotiation between the learner and the tutor to identify the most approriate and suitable skills development programme and pathway available.
