Mental Health Research Project

ncise Derbyshire has been awared a £6500 grant from Southern Derbyshire Voluntary Sector Mental Health Forum. This will enable ncise member organisations to engage with members of new and less established communities on mental health related issues.

The project also aims to conduct a feasibility study into the viability of new community groups in delivering support and signposting services in the sphere of mental health provisions to members of their respective communities that are culturally sensitive to their needs.

Awards for All project "ncise networking and inclusion initiative"

ncise Derbyshire launches  Awards for All funded project ncise networking and inclusion initiative that will be the first attempt to bring all organisations to work together and start operating as one multicultural network.

Project budget: £9980

The project aims to strengthen cooperation within network, investigate existing potential and ideas, establish its status and visibility in the city.


The main activities are as follows:
•joint or individual needs tailored training sessions
•producing joint information, upgrading community profile and services
•publishing a joint Newsletter
•developing new initiatives based on the needs existing within communities, and 
•organising networking and awareness event
