Management Committee Meeting

The meeting was organised to present ncise Derbyshire policies that will regulate all its future activities and set up the standards as well as to inform about Matrix Assessment process that will take place on the 18th of February 2010. It also aimed to consult the members on three years strategic development plan and discuss member organisations involvement in in Awards for All project “ncise networking and inclusion initiative”.

Ilona Navickiene, Development Worker compiled and presented ncise Derbyshire policies and procedures that are essential for the organisation in order to achieve Matrix accreditation. The package of policies and procedures presented included: Health & Safety, Code of Conduct, Complaint, Equality & Diversity, Data Protection, Internet/Email and Telephone, Disciplinary, Vulnerable Adult Protection, Volunteer, Grievance, Whistle blowing, Lone Working and Archive.

ncise Derbyshire three years development strategy
The strategy concept was drafted after in depth member organisations qualitative assessment and grassroots research findings carried out in October 2009, considering local and national policies and specifically focusing on economic benefits of diversity. The approved strategy defines ncise Derbyshire three years activities framework.

Participants of the meeting also were informed about opportunity to participate in Awards for All project “ncise networking and inclusion initiative”. More information in Projects Section.
