Ncise Launch

NCISE Derbyshire had its launch even on Sat 17 May 2008 at St James Centre, Derby. It was a really good event attended new communities in Derby as well as representatives from Nottingham and Northampton. The Mayor of the City of Derby, Councillor Pauline Latham OBE opened the event.

The Chair of NCISE Derbyshire, Ferid Kevric, gave a presentation about the progress so far and aims for the future. After further speeches we were treated to Cossack dancing from the “Hoverla” Ukrainian Dance Group. Food was provided from the Iranian community in Derby. Thank you to all who put in work behind the scenes to make the event happen.
